In case you missed it, tap this link and get in sync! Episode 1: What is the Garden of Good News. But really.. what is a garden of good news? What began as a foreshadowing daydream in the front seat of my granddad's F-150 2 years ago, eventually became a multimedia show and lifestyle brand that discusses holistic self development through christ over coffee, tea, wine and anything fine that grows from the garden. When you consider the context of The Garden of Good News, turn your attention to this three pronged plate of soul food: (1) The literal meaning (2) the metaphysical meaning and (3) the spiritual meaning.
The Literal
Our conversations and show-related content will be held over coffee, tea, wine, and everything fine that grows from the garden, but it does not end there. We will host a third of our content over agriculturally related products because too many of us have never planted a seed or felt the soil between our fingers. In this air-conditioned living, smart TV watching, iPhone scrolling age, we are getting further and further away from the Earth—disconnected from the source of life that sustains us. We rely on packaged goods delivered to our doorstep while the simple truth of where our food comes from fades into the background. So, can we truly be "down to Earth"? It's a question worth asking as our relationship with nature becomes more distant, and with it, our understanding of the effort, care, and patience it takes to grow, nurture, and harvest the very things we consume. Reconnecting with the soil is not just a possibility, but a responsibility that we all share. It could be our way back to a more grounded and fulfilling existence, reminding us of the value of slowing down, getting our hands dirty, and appreciating the world beneath our feet. 1/3 of all our lifestyle brand's content will be centered around this consistent reminder of the value in the dirt.
The Metaphysical
Our thoughts, our words, and our deeds are proverbial seeds that we plant in God's soil. As the saying goes, "You reap what you sow," and we believe that intentional planting yields lasting transformation. As planters of positive change, we invite you to join us on a journey toward holistic improvement—mind, body, spirit, and resources—guided by this principle of reap and sow accountability. Our guests will be asked to reflect on how they intentionally sow seeds for their own growth and development in these areas and how these efforts have shaped their path to success. In addition, we advocate for the importance of marriage, estate planning, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship as vital components of a thriving life. Every guest who visits our platform will be encouraged to share their unique journey, offering insight into where they’ve been and where they’re going, inspiring others to cultivate their own gardens of well-being and prosperity.
The Spiritual
If one were to condense the Bible into a cup of espresso, you'd likely find this truth: in the beginning, existence was plentiful, with everything working in our favor and nothing lacking to the point of destruction. However, when our focus shifted toward the consumption of lack—represented by the tree of good and evil—we forfeited that abundance and entered into a ghetto contract, striving to bring forth fruit by the sweat of our brow. Yet, when the Gospel, the Good News, arrived, we were offered a path back to the fullness we lost. Through the life and teachings of Christ, we have the opportunity to return to that original Garden, aligning our focus with His walk and message. As John 15 tells us, God is the Gardener, the source of all growth, and Christ is the vine that anchors us in this divine abundance. By uniting with Him, we tap into the limitless power of the Holy Spirit, receiving the full benefit of God's anointing. At The Garden of Good News, our mission is to extend a warm invitation to all who encounter our message: join the body of baptized, born-again believers and partake in this abundant life. Let us welcome you into the Garden of Good News, where exponential growth and divine flourishing await.
